You don’t need more Bible content You need a safer way to read Scripture
Faith of Messiah exists to help Christians break free from theological fight-or-flight and learn to read the Bible the way its ancient authors intended—through culture, language, story, and meaning.
This isn’t about winning arguments.
It’s about reading with confidence instead of fear.
Why This Membership Exists
Most Christians were never taught how to read the Bible.
They were taught what conclusions to defend.
So when questions arise—about contradictions, history, violence, law, or theology—
the nervous system kicks in.
Fight.
Freeze.
Shut it down.
Faith of Messiah was built to interrupt that cycle.
Over the last 14 years, I’ve created hundreds of hours of teachings exploring the Bible in its original cultural and historical world. Some of these teachings are older. Some are newer. My thinking has matured—but the through-line hasn’t changed:
Helping people read Scripture with clarity, humility, and courage.
This membership isn’t about adopting a tradition.
It’s about learning a way of reading that creates stability instead of fear.
There Are Two Ways to Walk This Path
People come to Faith of Messiah from very different places.
Some feel overwhelmed and unsure where to begin.
Others feel grounded and ready to go deeper.
That’s why the membership is organized around two distinct pathways.
Neither is better.
They simply serve different starting points.
Confident Reader Membership
This pathway is designed to calm anxiety and rebuild confidence in reading Scripture.
If Bible study has ever made you feel:
intimidated
defensive
afraid of getting it wrong
pressured by denominational expectations
this is where you start.
The Confident Reader pathway focuses on:
breaking theological fight-or-flight
learning how to read without panic
building trust in the text and in yourself as a reader
guided starting points so you’re never wondering where to go next
This is not an academic deep dive.
It’s a relational and interpretive foundation—so deeper study becomes inviting, not overwhelming.
Best for those who want confidence before depth.
Deep Dive Membership
This pathway is for those who already feel grounded and want to engage Scripture with serious depth.
If you already read the Bible with curiosity instead of fear—
and you’re eager to explore cultural context, narrative theology, and historical frameworks—this path is for you.
The Deep Dive pathway includes:
advanced courses and long-form studies
cultural and historical analysis
labeled legacy teachings for transparency and growth context
space to wrestle with complexity without flattening the text
This path assumes you already feel relatively confident as a reader.
If you don’t—start with Confident Reader first.
Best for experienced readers ready to go further.
Choose the path that best fits how you feel when you open the Bible.
You can move between pathways as your confidence grows.
Not Sure Which One to Choose?
If reading the Bible still triggers anxiety, defensiveness, or fear of being wrong—
start with Confident Reader.
If you already feel calm, curious, and ready to wrestle with complexity—
Deep Dive is waiting.
You’re not behind.
You’re choosing your starting point.
You’re not joining a denomination.
You’re not signing up for a debate.
You’re learning how to read Scripture
in a way that produces confidence, humility, and wisdom.
That’s the invitation.
