Paul and Circumcision
Paul is often accused of teaching against Torah and against circumcision. However, we know that Paul actually circumcised Timothy! So the question is, can we show in Paul's writings what it is exactly that he has a problem with in regards to the law and circumcision? The answer is found in Romans 2. We will discuss the context of these verses and how they help us to understand all of Paul's writings.
Circumcision is indeed worthwhile if you keep the Torah; but if you break the Torah, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. Therefore, if the uncircumcised keeps the righteous decrees of the Torah, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision?
