Deuteronomy 32:1-52

2 Samuel 22:1-51

Welcome to the Torah Portion Ha’azinu. In this post, we will cover the weekly Torah portion and weekly Haftarah portion from a cultural perspective. There is also an Echoes Through Scripture teaching which takes a theme from the Torah portion and connects it throughout the rest of the Hebrew Bible and into the Apostolic Scriptures.

Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak, and let the earth hear the words of my mouth. May my teaching drop as the rain, my speech distill as the dew, like gentle rain upon the tender grass, and like showers upon the herb. For I will proclaim the name of YHWH; ascribe greatness to our God!

Ryan, this is an excellent teaching!!! …just as all of your teachings are!! Wonder if you can clarify something for me….“When I am lifted up, the ruler of this world will be cast out, and I will draw all peoples to myself.” The ruler of this world is satan…and drawing all peoples to himself is an Exodus from “slavery to sin”. I don’t understand “going from slavery to sin”.

We are so blessed to have you, Rico, Dinah, Joseph as our teachers!!
Praying for your trip to Iowa and Oklahoma Sukkot’s, may it be a “trouble free” time for you and your family!!!
