Justice and Covenant Renewal

justice-and-covenant

In this teaching, we will be discussing the connection between establishing justice and righteousness in the ancient Near East and the Sabbatical (Sh'mita) year and the Jubilee (Yovel) year. The establishment of this institution coincided with a covenant renewal when the new king is enthroned. All of this is extremely important to understanding the covenant renewal that Yeshua did with his disciples just prior to his crucifixion.

Now while they were eating, Yeshua took bread and after He offered the blessing, He broke and gave to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” And He took a cup; and after giving thanks, He gave to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the removal of sins. But I say to you, I will never drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

      Hi John,

Yes I’ve been up several times north of Duluth area and near Brainard to teach. It just takes someone to set something up. I’m glad you’re enjoying the teachings!
